In 2007, nearly 15 million households in the UK (61%) were connected and 84% of them had a broadband connection 
(National Statistics 2007).

I think that more than 90% of the people in the class has a broadband connection.

The three reasons why it is higher than the figure above, is because people have adapted to use the internet more than they did before.
